This single-use sterile vaginal dilator is a rod-shaped instrument made of a sleeve with handle and an observation lens. The sleeve is polycarbonate and the lens is stainless steel (06Cr19Ni10). It is ethylene-oxide sterilised, supplied sterile, intended for one person only, and used to expose the vaginal canal for examination.
